Kurt Lorenz was one of the cameramen working on the documentary, “Anatomy of a Face” in 1966 about Romy Schneider. I met him and interviewed him about how he became a cameraman and on meeting the famous actress.
Shadow of the Imago
I was happy to direct these two fine students of the craft of acting in the Czech Republic for the festival “We Are All Emotional”. The festival was postponed at least twice because of the pandemic but through tenacity, it finally went ahead in the spring of 2022.

I’m very happy to be taking part in the Prague Biennial in December in my debut as writer/director (not performing this time).
Tranzit.at director, Georg Schöllhammer interviewed me and we discussed empathy, which is the main theme of the festival.
When Time Has Flown
I was happy to premiere my short one woman show, “When Time Has Flown” at Kulturen in Bewegung in association with Unesco at The Volkskundemuseum in June this year. It was part of an all day event addressing inequality in the arts.

Mask workshop in Krems
Was macht unsere Identität aus? Wie werden wir von anderen wahrgenommen? Im Rahmen der Ausstellung Somewhere in the world. Afrikanisch-Niederösterreichische Begegnungen gibt es im Forum Frohner die Möglichkeit sich gemeinsam mit Künstlerin Helena Eribenne mit dem Thema Identität und Selbstdarstellung zu beschäftigen und selbst künstlerisch tätig zu werden.
Die intensive Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema Identität und damit einhergehenden Stereotypen bildet die Grundlage für die eigene künstlerische Herangehensweise. Jede/r Teilnehmer/in gestaltet im Rahmen des Workshops eine Maske, durch die eine besondere Aussage transportiert wird. Helena Eribenne gibt dafür einen Einblick in die Geschichte von Masken und Verkleidungen und unterstützt die Teilnehmer/Innen im freien Gestaltungsprozess.

Kunstraum Niederösterreich H13 Prize for Performance
I’m pleased to announce that I am the recipient of the award, H13 Prize for Performance. The performance will take place 4th September 2019, 7.00 pm at Kunstraum Niederösterreich, Herrengasse 13. The music will be written by myself and produced by Markus Steinkellner. Mia Legenstein will be DJing afterwards.
